Peer support

Peer support groups allow fathers as well as other men considering fatherhood to support each other. Attending a peer group encourages a stronger involvement in parenting and indirectly promotes the wellbeing of the whole family.

We offer training, consultations and guidance for professionals who encounter fathers in their line of work. The training equips professionals with concrete tools for working with fathers in the fields of social welfare and healthcare and increases knowledge and understanding about modern fatherhood.

Implementing practices geared specifically for fathers improves the quality and effectiveness of services offered by organizations whose goal is to support the wellbeing of families. Networks allow organizations to share knowledge and develop practices in co-operation. They promote a deeper understanding of modern fatherhood and the drive to support it in the wider society.
