Vieraasta Veljeksi | English

Vieraasta Veljeksi helps immigrant men in finding employment and integrating into Finnish Society. Mentoring and discussion groups are the main forms of activity.

Mentoring Program

Mentors are voluntary Finnish-speaking men who help immigrants in finding job opportunities and getting accustomed to Finnish culture and labour market. This offers the mentor an opportunity to learn something new as well.

Vieraasta Veljeksi aims to find immigrants and Finnish-speaking volunteers with professional training. Let us know if you are interested in participating either as a mentor or as an immigrant.

Themes of the hosted discussions will be focused on the general topics of the project at first. Later they can be directed towards the interests of the participants. Discussion group meets every Wednesday at Miessakit Helsinki office (Annankatu 16 B 28, 00120 Helsinki) from 5 to 6.30 pm. Welcome!
