Isyyden Tueksi offers support for fathers. The aim of the service is to make modern fatherhood visible and participatory, to help fathers take care of themselves, and to facilitate peer activities between them. Isyyden Tueksi also provides information on fatherhood, offers continuing vocational training for professionals who encounter fathers in their line of work, and creates and maintains professional and social networks in support of fathers.

ISÄluuri is a helpline offering support and guidance for fathers and consultation for professionals.

Call the helpline at 044 751 1332. The service is available 9 a.m. to 4 p.m Monday through Friday. Our on-call counselor will take your call.

Peer support

Peer support groups allow fathers as well as other men considering fatherhood to support each other. Attending a peer group encourages a stronger involvement in parenting and indirectly promotes the wellbeing of the whole family. 

Expertise

We offer training, consultations and guidance for professionals who encounter fathers in their line of work. The training equips professionals with concrete tools for working with fathers in the fields of social welfare and healthcare and increases knowledge and understanding about modern fatherhood.

Networks

Implementing practices geared specifically for fathers improves the quality and effectiveness of services offered by organizations whose goal is to support the wellbeing of families. Networks allow organizations to share knowledge and develop practices in co-operation. They promote a deeper understanding of modern fatherhood and the drive to support it in the wider society.
